Because if you deal with Vsphere GUI, you’ve certainly spent sometime troubleshooting why your upload would fail.
Plus, using CLI commands is useful for your scripts!
Open up your CLI, if you’re using Windows issue the command:
$ scp Windowsfilelocation/file.ext username@vsphereip:Datastore location
